Teaching.

I make art because it is how I make connections in the world. The arts are, inherently, an act of service to the community and an education for the next generation of practitioners. What excites me most about a rehearsal room and a classroom is the creative collision of many minds for deeper exploration and greater collective understanding. I believe it is essential to respect, promote, and challenge students’ work and ideas to facilitate their self-determination and development of their voices into dynamic citizens.

Courses I offer include Acting, Directing, Theatre History, Dramatic Literature, Dramaturgy, Text Analysis, Introduction to Theatre,  Scene Study, Translation and Adaptation, The Business of Theatre, Playwriting, Arts Administration, Producing, Movement for the Actor, Boston Theatre (past and present) and Devised Theatre Making.
